Protective Grommet for Glass Window (Dometic/Can) – TPU, 3D Printed

The grommet (O-ring with flange) is designed for installation in a glass window hole. Its purpose is to isolate the finger from the glass edge and eliminate the risk of cuts when lifting or closing the window. The part is manufactured using 3D printing technology from flexible TPU and is available in black or white.

Installation

Clean and degrease the glass hole edges.

Insert the grommet evenly, pressing until the groove “clicks” onto the glass edge. Optionally soften the O-ring in warm water. Caution: risk of burns.

Check that the flange sits flush all around.

If necessary, reheat in warm water to increase flexibility (use caution to avoid burns).
